6th Blythe Doll Arrival!

Today I recieved my girlie at the front doorstep from the postie man. I think she maybe my last blythe girl that I buy...well at least for this year! hahah. She is a Night flower Blythe made in 2002 and I adpoted her from Carol on Flickr...I think I'm her 3rd owner.

Naming all my dolls was hard and I searched baby names for a few days, their names had to have a meaning that suited each girl. Please welcome.....

Been Shopping at Scrapbooks from the Heart ...Canningvale (Perth). The shop is sooo cute and the new scrap goodies..just to die for! Go check it out... A MUST!!! ( Here is just what I bought!)

I love this shop as this is where it all started for me'..I worked the Friday Frenzy's every fortnight and taught the Children's holiday classes... I have scrapped for many and I mean many years before this at other shops. This was and still is one of my favourites!!

Haircut ..chop chop!

 

Here today gone tomorrow ...It was haircut day today as I wanted Mango to have a sexy little bob. I was not a big fan at the way their hair styles arrived with so chop chop!!

The customising has started ..now for the faces} I dont know what to use?

And I would love Mango to have brown freckles..

Can anyone help give me some much needed advice????

Happy Fathers Day ..to all Dad's here in Aussie Land

 
  
Every Fathers Day we celebrate with a Aussie Barbeque.. this year was no exception although our BBQ hadn't been working all year. We bought it from a shop and had problems with it ever since. My husband was on a mission.. MISSION > New regualator, New gas bottle...still nothing?

Until we looked through every nook and cranny (there was plastic blocking the flow of gas to the BBQ)

Heaps of $$$$ later and that's all it was???

At least we are in the swing ready for summer ..yahh!

 

All I can say is....What a cake?

I love sugar skulls lately and my fabulous bestest friend Chantelle made this amazing cake for her daughters birthday party..took all day...but as you would agree with me it's a bloody masterpiece!

School week as a Teacher, completed!

I have enjoyed being in a Year One class that I received
this year. The students were so little and oh so cute.
Each one having their own little personality coming out
and the best teacher ever! I did many rolls in the school
especially today, we just finished sports carnival day and
I'm soooo tired and exhausted (early night for me)
Here is a photo of what we made during a Bunnings incursion
and the fantastic Fathers Day cards I helped them make.

What a Amazing Mushroom.....

I found this in the backyard...it sparkled in the sunlight and was amazing. Taking a closer look I realised this was a mushroom and a snail had used it for dinner!

Cousins Together Again!

 

Moni lives so far away from us..and Jess and Jake miss her so much! So when she is down they spend every minute off the day with her. We decided that Friday night we would have her FIRST EVER sleep over that she's never had without mum.

I loved it ..she is so precious and hopefully we will do it again around Christmas time!

New home for my feathered friends!

My 5 weiro's are getting a new home soon..they are busting out of their home right now and need a renovation to a new spunky aviary!
So I'm checking the Quokka (newspaper here in WA) for second hand aviaries.
I have found one in the country so I have my inspector ..Step Dad! checking it out for me today. Cross fingers for my feathery friends! hehhe

Wow I finally made my favourite Desert..Pavalova!!!

 

Well if you know me I really ...and I mean REALLY love Pavalova. I would request this over birthday cakes when I was younger (actually still ask my mum to make them!) I have tried cracking this receipe for 15 years ..to no effort as they are all hard as rocks ..don't rise..different ingredients...different cooking times (15min..3hours) Arhhhh
So I bugged my mum the other night as I was craving one really bad ..and I still hadn't recieved one from MUM for my birthday..BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT!
I thought bugger this I'll try again and guess what? It WORKED!!!

It tasted just like Mum's Pav ...really YUMMY FOR MY TUMMY ...and waist!

This has taken 15 years in the making...and ohhh every mouth full was heaven.

My Backroom has been in shambles for years now...I have painted walls that just arn't finished also my floors are half painted. Having a room that I practically live in unfinished is starting to bug me. Hence why I'm trying to complete it very soon. I bought corrigated iron to go down 1/2 the side walls of the room. Now is the time to pick the colours..arhhh stay white greys, 
Go a bold red pannel...Too many choices???

I love ...did I say LOVE? Yes .I did say that because my blythe dolls are sooo adorable and have there own personality that i so love. But mine right now didnt have a lot of spare clothes ..so I have been making some! But also I would like to share what I bought today!!....

I found a Alice in wonderland..Snow white and some others ..What a score is all I can say. So my girls are going to be set...Also I have my eye on a few new release Blythe dolls. So Pepper and Spice might have some extra family memebers really soon!

Check out my New ARRIVALS!!!

I had adored and cherish birds for along time...since we have moved into this house I actually have a backyard that I can have a large cage to house them.

I have had Nacho and Crackles since April, May and they have soooo much character...

But I would like to introduce two amazing weiro's that my Mum bought yesterday for me...a early B'day pressie..already I see such cute personalities coming out. These birds had a lady owner that was too old to look after them anymore!...so they are a little trained ..as I found out when the bird on the left decided to pull buttons off my shirt while i was trying to get her into the main cage ..took 20 minutes hahahaaa

So now to name them....any suggestions are welcomed?

Saturday Simple Cards!

 

Come celebrate with us...this is a quick Idea for a children's lolly bag tag..or a invitaion! Using scrap paper in my huge box ..Angie Delarie Acrylic Stamp (Panda Twinklelite) and also Elsie Stamp(Box) very simple and made in less than 5 minutes. I then stuck it onto a lolly sleeve and added colour jelly beans! Yum Yum..

This is a simple card that also represents a event by stamping a month on acid free paper and circling or adding a star on the day. I supose it could be a invitation as well....

Last quick and simple Idea is a travel tag ....very easy to make!
First I just cut 2 circle tags one bigger than the other ...Stamped my Panda Twinklelite and also my crown stamp onto white acid free paper ..then commenced cutting them out.
Stuck it all together using doublesided tape and wuuullllaaaahhh! finished 

These 3 Ideas took less than 5 minutes each ..simple, quick Ideas that anyone one can complete

What can't you live without?

When I have my headphones in and my music is playing, it's like I'm in a whole different world.<3
Music has always been a stress reliever for me since i was younger sitting in the contour bank( A ditch that holds water on the farm!). and no It didnt have water in ... with my old head phones on listening to Whitney Houston, Kylie, ACDC and the list goes on ..but as I say these names of singers just makes me realise how old I'm becoming!!
There's is nothing better than dancing like no one is watching to your favorite song at a deafening volume in a lounge room...or doing this before going to a night club with my best friend Urs way back! Sometimes silence is so damn loud ...when life gets tough and music has always been a friend ... To scream my lungs out to ...cry when life gets tough!
Music has always kept me sane...earphones on and the world closed off!
So what is something that you can't live without???????

She arrived yesterday, but because the post office shuts at 4.30pm I couldn't get her...but I sneaked down during my lunch break ,don't tell anyone...shhhh!!!   My Blythe Cowgirl arrived!!
I  Named her Pepper as it sooo suits the adorable sweet country girl!

February Starts....

Back to soon for my two kiddies and that means back to work for me. Was I ready for it ..........hell No!  How can you be ready after 6 weeks of bliss and doing sweet nothing. But i got back into the saddle and off I went again...But for my oldest Jess ..she had a New school to go too and to make new friends. I was a bit worried but it seemed to go to plan and she loved it.

Here she is and I love the outfit...easy to clean and looks so good on her. Jake was fine as he was still at the same school ..new teacher off course!

Better go get some shut eye...night all!

Saturday Night Blog Fever!

I love celebrating Australia Day ..but this year we stayed home and watched it on our front lawn with our neighbours. We played with our own fireworks ..sparklers though and had great fun!

This is my last weekend of freedom 6 weeks of holidays gone and back to work on Monday..as my husband says six weeks you are sooo lucky. But as usual i'm still busy making soooo many things this weekeend that I need to keep going. I bought these two dolls today just for the outfits ready for my Blythe doll....a nice dress and a outfit ready for her to join me in my race car...giving the dolls to my niece's. Moxie dolls are a new brand here in Australia.

 So I need to up and leave you and get back to sewing some felt bags ..for dolls??? hint is starting to be revealed!

I just love going over to my Sis Tv profile and seeing people comment and congratulate on getting on the catwalk... Amy Tangerine picked this layout as her favourite ..although Jess my girl always says "take it off mum I look like a Idiot" I just tell her she looks like this everyday (only kidding)...she is a character just like her dad. ...Ha isn't it a cabbage patch that they come from???? heheh

Today I'm scooting to Harvey Norman and grabbing one of these babies! If you know my Laptop crashed about a year ago and I'm in desperate need of a New one...Right now I sit out in the freezing cold in winter or extremely HOT in summer back scrap room!(tin roof) Where this old computer is ( I still love u computer!) ....
